 CPR Standards

  CPR Standards
The new CPR standards and steps have been streamlined and amalgamated for adult, child, and infant CPR; they now involve all of the same steps and actions.  Research indicated that CPR should be easier to remember and perform, thus some of the steps have been removed and the 'numbers' are all the same.  There is now a distinction made for the general population, referred to as "lay rescuers".  They include most rescuers such as the general public, workplace, fitness professionals, caregivers of children.
