At ALT International, we offer two Pool Operator courses.
Level 1 is an introductory level course where participants explore
the principles of swimming pool operation and maintenance. The
Level 2 course examines the topics of Level 1 in more depth, and
focuses on developing competence in all areas of pool operation.
Completion of Level 1, or current formal experience in pool
operation, is required for Level 2.
All participants received the
Modern Concepts in Swimming Pool Operation text and workbook. |

Course Format |

ALT International's Pool Operator's courses can be customized to
meet the specific needs of your facility and staff. Levels 1
and 2 are often run over a weekend, and can be offered concurrently
at discounted rates. Weekday options are also available.

Level 1
This introductory level course requires
participation in all lecture and practical sessions. Level 1
participants who attend the complete course will receive a
certificate of participation suitable for framing, and a wallet card
indicating they have participated in the ALT International Level 1
Pool Operator's Course.Level 2
This certification course
requires:
- previous experience in pool operation or attendance at a
Level 1 course;
- attendance at all Level 2 lectures;
- completion of the assignments during the course; and,
- successful completion of a standardized written examination.
All Level 2 participants who attend the entire course, finish
the assignments, and pass the standardized examination with a
minimum score of 70% will receive a certificate of competency
suitable for framing and a wallet card indicating they have
successfully completed the ALT International Level 2 Pool
Operator's course. |

course, candidates will explore swimming pool operation and
maintenance. The objective of this course is to identify the
principles that enhance pool operation. Participation
certificate and wallet cards are issued at the conclusion of the

workbook are included.

International Pool Operator Level 2: The Level 2 course
examines the topics introduced in Level 1 in more depth, and focuses
on developing competence in all areas of pool operation.
Completion of Level 1, or current formal experience in pool
operation, is required for Level 2. Successful candidates will
receive a certificate and wallet card at the conclusion of the
course. Certification requires attendance, written exam, and
assignments completed during the course. **Please bring a
calculator to the course.
